AIM OF THIS COURSE
Precious opals and jade represent two of the most interesting and challenging gemstones to grade and price within the gem industry.
This course will introduce the learner to all the knowledge required to confidently distinguish between the different varieties within each of these groups, and to identify the many treatments and imitations of both jade and opal common in the market.

This is a general interest course designed for everyone – beginners, trainee gemmologists or working professionals wishing to know more about jade and opals.
It is also an opportunity to discover gemmology and find out if you may be interested in further studies in this field.
