AIM OF THIS COURSE
Rubies, sapphires, and emeralds are considered the cornerstones of the coloured gemstone industry.
This comprehensive course covers all the learner needs to know about these magnificent gemstones, including their chemical, physical, optical properties; the major localities associated with each; an introduction to grading and pricing; and how to confidently identify them, their treatments and their synthetic counterparts using standard gemmological testing.

The course consists of 12 lessons (split into two modules – one for Corundum and one for Emerald) and 1 test.
